Ancients’ Treasure:
Maximize Day 1 Rewards for a Strong Day 2

TWE Academy Tutorial:
Ancients' Treasure

Ancients’ Treasure Event Guide

Welcome to TWE Academy’s Ancients’ Treasure guide!

This two-day clan event is one of the highest-value events in Total Battle. Day 1 focuses on collecting map fragments, summoning your personal vault, and raiding vaults with very low troop losses. Strong performance on Day 1 directly improves your rewards on Day 2 (Rise of the Ancients). Follow this guide and our clan plan to get maximum value and help TWE dominate the event.

Event Highlights

How the Ancients’ Treasure Event Works (Day 1)

The Ancients’ Treasure event is a two-day clan competition. On Day 1 the main goals are:

  • Completing daily objectives to collect map fragments
  • Assembling the full map to reveal your personal treasure vault location
  • Raiding vaults (your own and your clanmates’) to earn points and event coins
  • Earn chests, upgrade artifacts and gain valuable resources like valor and experience points.

Vault battles have significantly reduced revival costs and very low permanent losses, making this one of the best value events for troop usage.

Participation Rules: Players must be in a clan for at least 24 hours to join, and switching kingdoms resets eligibility.

Strategy Tips

  • Maximize Vault Level: Your vault strength is tied to your guardsmen level—higher levels mean better bonuses.
  • Choose Troops Wisely: Match troop types to vault difficulty to minimize losses and improve efficiency.
  • Work as a Clan: Share vault locations in chat to help everyone progress faster.
  • Finish Strong: Use the final hour to clear remaining vaults and maximize your total points.

TWE Clan Plan & Expectations

Vault Rules & Expectations

  • Every member is required to summon a vault/portal.
  • You are not required to attack your own vault, but placing one is mandatory.
  • Any clan member may start a raid on another member’s vault at any time.
    • If you plan to lead a raid, try to start it shortly after placing your vault.
    • Vault owners do not lose anything if someone else starts the raid.
  • If your vault is placed outside clan territory, you must share the coordinates in clan chat so others can find it.
  • Vault attacks do not give personal points, but they contribute to clan reward chests, so participation still benefits everyone.

Coin Spending Priority

After completing vault raids, you’ll earn event coins.
Spend them in this exact order:

  1. Time Artifact → Upgrade until it reaches 13 minutes
  2. Summons → Target: 4 total
  3. Bonus Artifact

⚠️ Coins must be used in this order—do not skip or rearrange priorities.

Troop Strategy for Vault Raids

General Rules

  • Never send Catapults (they are ineffective)
  • Use mercenaries whenever possible
  • Match troop types to vault difficulty
  • Cascade/stack troops to optimize results — it’s okay if you don’t have the perfect setup; use what you have

Recommended Troops by Vault Level

Participation regardless of strength helps.

  • Levels 5-13: G1 troops (White army)- Use Archers + Riders → avoid melee
  • Levels 14: G2 troops (Green army)- Use Archers + Riders, Monsters → avoid melee
  • Levels 15-19: G3 troops (Blue army) or G4 (Purple army)- Use Archers + Riders → avoid melee
  • Levels 20-23: G3 troops (Blue army) or G4 (Purple army)- Use Mounted only → avoid melee
  • Levels 24-29: G4 troops (Purple army) + G5 Griphons- Use Mounted only → avoid melee - No Dragon
  • Levels 30-33: G5 troops (Orange army)- Use Flying only, Griffons V (Orange) and monster → No mounted
  • Levels 34-39: G6 troops (Red army) - Use Flying only → avoid Beast, Elemental, and Dragon → No mounted

Best Captains

  • Recommended: Aydae, Amanitore, Alexander (plus mythic captains)
  • Avoid: Stror, Helen, Carter, Farhad, Aurora

Pro Tips

  • Match captain strength to vault level
  • Use your best artifacts and gear
  • Premium players: Select Great Marshal before attacking

Key Takeaways

Day 1: Map & Vaults

  • Complete daily quests to collect 6 map fragments and reveal your vault
  • Vault level is based on your guardsmen level
  • Level 15+ vaults provide Scientific Tractates for Clan Capital progress

⚔️ Vault Raids (High Value Event)

  • Revival cost = ~10% of normal
  • Permanent losses = ~5% (very low risk)
  • All participants earn Ancients’ Coins after raids
  • Coins are used to upgrade Clan Artifacts

💡 This makes vault raiding one of the best value troop events—low losses, high rewards.

🧠 Clan Artifacts (Priority Matters)

Upgrades on Day 1 directly impact Day 2 rewards:

  • 📘 Tome (Book): Boosts Valor, XP, and event points
  • 🗿 Figurine: Increases number of enemies summoned
  • Clock: Extends tin man duration

➡️ Stronger artifacts = better rewards on Day 2

Final Strategy Reminders

  • Follow your clan plan exactly (especially coin spending)
  • Coordinate vaults and raids with your team
  • Push hard on Day 1 to maximize Day 2 rewards
  • All participation = more Valor, XP, and clan progress
